BEST GELATO IN SEVILLE,SPAIN

I have been studying abroad in Seville, Spain for over two months. I am a self proclaimed foodie and I love dessert. While abroad, my favorite dessert has been GELATO!

Seville is a city with warm temperatures and a handful of sunny days. Gelato is the perfect dessert for wandering the beautiful streets, when the sun is hot. Listed below are my favorite Gelato Shops in Seville. Hope you enjoy your trip to Seville, and enjoy some delicious gelato while there!

Puro and Bio

Local 2, Paseo de Cristóbal Colón, 9, 41001 Sevilla

Puro and Bio has two locations in Seville. The main location is located close to the Bullring. This gelato is delicate, flavorful and has a softer consistency than most other gelato. The taste is authentic, and the gelato is delicious. My favorite is the stracciatella flavor.

Giolatto

Calle Reyes Católicos, 19, 41001 Sevilla

While my boyfriend and I were wandering the streets of Grazalema, Spain, we found Giolatto. This place was so good, and we were sad to think that this shop wasn't in Seville. Although, after a little bit of research we found that there is a shop close to Triana. Giolatto may be a gelato chain, but the portions are huge and the flavors are standouts. I am obsessed with the strawberry flavor, you can see the chunks of strawberry blended into the creamy base. Giolatto has some unique flavors, but one of the coolest parts of Giolatto is that they have a Nutella fountain and for a little extra, you can fill your cone with Nutella! YUM.

Fabrica De Helados

On a warm day, my best friend and I were walking through the streets of Seville, and we stumbled upon this cute little shop. We looked in the window and saw a spinning display case full of Gelato. We could not resist! I got a cone with a Kinder flavor, and it was mouthwatering. Kinder Bueno is a popular European Chocolate flavor with a hint of hazelnut. This flavor is my favorite chocolate based gelato that I have tried. If the gelato isn’t reason enough to stop here, the spinning gelato case sure will tempt you to buy it!

Fabrica De Helados

La Abuela Heladería

Av. de la Constitución, 20, 41004 Sevilla

La Abuela is a Seville gelato chain with almost every flavor of gelato imaginable. With locations near the Cathedral, La Abuela is in the heart of Seville’s tourist areas. Although I have been told that this gelato is inauthentic, the price is right and I have not found a flavor I don’t like. La Abuela almost always has a line, but it is so worth it. The gelato has the consistency of ice cream, but all of the flavors are so good. Standouts include Oreo, natilla(custard), and tarta de queso (cheesecake).

La Abuela

Amorino

Calle Granada, 2, 41001 Sevilla

I included Amorino on this list because the gelato truly is delicious. The passion fruit flavor, along with the yogurt flavor are some of the creamiest and lightest gelatos I have tasted. Amorino is not exclusive to Seville and it is a chain, however, the flower cone truly is a masterpiece. Not to mention the gelato filled macaron is to die for. It may be cliche but the gelato is fantastic, and I would definitely suggest trying this place.

Thank you for reading this blog! What is your favorite type of gelato?
