San Francisco is a city I wanted to visit for the longest time! This city is full of tourist spots but is also home to delicious food. Read this guide for a full list of things to do when you only have one day in San Francisco!
Places to Visit in San Francisco
Golden Gate Bridge
When you go to San Francisco you absolutely need to check out the Golden Gate Bridge! I am sharing my favorite viewpoints for a clear and unique picture in front of one of the most iconic places in the United States!
Fort Baker: This spot is secluded and offers a new vantage point than seen in most Instagram posts
Golden Gate Vista Point: This spot offers a head-on view of the Golden Gate Bridge. It can get busy and windy but the pictures here are great!
Painted Ladies
I love these colorful houses! They gained their popularity because of Full House, and have been a must-see ever sense! These houses are so darling and they make a great photo backdrop.
Lombard Street
This is the curviest street in the US and it is so fun to drive down! It is STEEP but it’s worth it.
Foodie Spots
Tony’s Pizza Napoletana
I can rave about this pizza forever. I have traveled to Italy and I can still say that this was one of my favorite pizza places I have eaten at. I ordered a Detroit style pizza to share and my mother who has celiac got a gluten-free pizza! Everyone LOVED their food. If you are in San Francisco, you need to get pizza and I would recommend you get it from Tony’s.
Over the Moon
I love dessert and Over The Moon had the most amazing cookie ice cream “cups”! I had never seen an ice cream shop do this before and I loved it. The cookie was soft and gooey but didn't leak while holding the ice cream. I got a scoop of "caramel cookie dough" in the chocolate chip cookie cup! This was a great place to stop for ice cream in San Francisco.
Ghirardelli Factory
I will never say no to Ghirardelli Chocolate. My personal favorite is the milk chocolate caramel squares! When in San Francisco, you really can’t skip Ghirardelli.
I hope you enjoyed this San Francisco Travel Guide! I'm here to say that even
if you only have one day, you can still see so much in San Francisco!
