Ahh, Paris. The most romantic, beautiful city. This travel guide shares my favorite places to visit, things to do, and food to try! J'aime Paris
Places to Visit
Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is breathtaking. No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower. I loved seeing it both during the day time and at night when it glitters. It truly is beautiful, and crazy that it is man-made.
Louvre Museum
The Louvre Museum has incredible exhibits including the Mona Lisa. If you are hoping to save some money, every Friday from 6 p.m. to 9:45 p.m., admission to the museum is free for visitors under the age of 26. I enjoyed going at this time because I was able to explore the museum and then when I got hungry head out for dinner time!
Disneyland Paris
I had been dreaming about visiting Disneyland Paris ever since I was a little girl and it did not disappoint. When I went, there was very short lines for the rides. I loved seeing the differences and similarities between California Disneyland and Paris Disneyland. The tickets for Disney Paris are also cheaper than for the original Disneyland. I would suggest spending a full day exploring the parks! I am Disney Obsessed, so this was a dream come true for me!
Arc De Triomf
The Arc de Triomf is another one of Paris’s most famous sites. I enjoyed going in the morning when there aren’t as many people!
Things to Do
Picnic at the Eiffel Tower
There is something so wonderful about having a picnic under the Eiffel Tower. I would suggest buying fruit, and a baguette sandwich at the Rue Market, and enjoying your meal sitting with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
Put a lock on the Love Lock Bridge
If you are visiting Paris with your significant other, I would suggest putting a lock on the Love Lock Bridge together. This is such a romantic and adorable gesture. I loved getting to put a lock on the bridge with my boyfriend Jackson! Word of advice, the original “Love Lock Bridge” Ponts des Arts is no longer able to hold locks because the city has put up plexiglass along the side. There is a new bridge with locks, so look for the crowds and go there!
Visit Rue Cler Market Street
I loved visiting this street with all of the vendors selling beautiful flowers, produce, etc. I enjoyed getting fresh-squeezed juice, fruit, and admiring all of the flowers.
Food
Macarons
France is known for its amazing macarons. You can get them from Laduree, Pierre Herme, or even the local bakery you walk by! I love how delicate, macarons are, and I would like to try every single flavor!
La Creperie
La Creperie had amazing crepes and was the perfect breakfast destination. I loved getting a latte, and a crepe and simply enjoy being in Paris.
Angelina’s Hot Chocolate
Angelina’s is a famous Parisian restaurant. If you do not try anything else, the hot chocolate is incredible. This restaurant often has a line out the door but it is worth it!
Les Gourmandises d'Eiffel
This Boulangerie and patisserie has delicious pastries, sandwiches, and baked goods! I loved their Eclairs, and they also had filling baguette sandwiches. This little bakery is close to the Eiffel tower, so it is the perfect place to get picnic food!
